Return of the Equalization Draft

Is it time to bring the EQ draft back?
  • Would bringing it back encourage trade discussions?
  • If we bring it back is there a different form that people would like it to take versus the previous method?

  1. I have always hated this draft. It punishes good owners and rewards idiots. I don't think you should lose a player just because you had a great season and strategically did well, only to reward someone who made stupid deals and drafted like they were on crack. I am firmly against this rule.

  2. No way! Completely agree with Rob's statement.

Draft well, bid well, and don't gut your team with every deal, and you should be able to turn a team around quickly on your own.

  3. OK I won't bring this idea up again.

My main point for including it is that I felt that the EQ draft encouraged people to make moves...something that I think has gone stale since we eliminated this draft.
